STORY

The year is 2049.

SAM REED has high hopes as he and the crew of the USS Indigo prepare to return home after a three month geological survey mission of the asteroid Aion 11.

After a series of professional and personal setbacks, this is the first time the disgraced ex-astronaut has been in space since he was ousted as a NASA pilot, and relegated to the records division over a decade ago. The captain of the Indigo, MARIA HUTCHINSON, is a good friend of Sam’s, and she pulled a few strings to land him a position as a consultant on this mission. If all goes well, Sam is hoping that NASA will give him a second chance, and reinstate him as a pilot.

But Sam’s hopes are dashed when an explosion rocks the Indigo minutes before reentry, and he is left with no choice but to leave his crew behind as he flees in the Indigo’s escape pod.

Shaken by this turn of events, things only get worse for Sam as he realizes the escape pod’s communication and navigation systems are malfunctioning and he is forced to crash land in the middle of the ocean.

Upon his return, Sam discovers the life he left behind is gone—replaced by a fractured reality where nothing is as it seems.

He will undergo a quest for answers, as he unravels a mystery that will find him on the run from the authorities, evading foreign spies, attempting to gain the trust of friends and family skeptical of his story, questioning his own sanity, and battling to save the world from a horrific fate.

Along the way, Sam will confront his inner demons and be forced to reckon with his past in this epic science fiction audio drama series.
